PART 3 Revision procedures
Step 1 Greeting
Greet the class as usual.
Step 2 Lead-in
Sign to the students to be quiet and take out the revision plan. Tell them the importance of this module in book 6.
Step 3 Lead the students to review the poins.
The exercises include four parts: words and expressions (translation); important poins in the text; grammar and at last consolidation (blank-filling, multiple choice, sentence- translation)
In this part I want to improve the students’ translation ability, their abilty to analyze the important poins and their ability to form a knowledge structure of the module.
When doing the exercises, I will first expian the key poins and then give the students a few minutes to finish them. While checking, I will ask students to give the answers. As for some confusing points, mainly depend on the students’ discussion. I only give some instructions, when necessary.
Step 4 Homework
Review the paper and try to memorize the important poins. Next class will have a dictation.
